Greetings in His matchless Name!
Just a quick update...
I have a new "friend"...called a Pacemaker. While it may be able to regulate my heart rate, it has not been able to help with my breathing issues. I think my lungs are just about worn out?? I have another appt. with a pulmonologist who will diagnose the problem...maybe. Due to the recent surgical procedure to install the Pacemaker, I am unable to drive or lift anything heavier than 10 lbs. for 30 days. I reluctantly had to cancel my meetings at 1st Bap. in Easton with Pastor Gilmore for his annual Tent Mtg. That hurt me more than him. Had a bad day yesterday, breathing and overall blah feeling.
I am hoping when things settle down I will be able to resurrect my "old normal" life. I don't like the "new normal."
I would be appreciative of your prayers. Thanks so much!
I have had brother & sister Herb and Marge Brail living with me for a couple of weeks and we have had a great time together. They have helped fill in the void of my life without Shirley, (I miss her every day!) They will be heading back to Des Moines today.
