God is Awesome!
All of the Bible is for us, but not all of the Bible is to us and not all of the Bible is about us (remember, most of the Bible is written to and is about the nation Israel, not us).

Dear Praying Friends,
Greetings in His Matchless Name. I come to you this day after just returning from my bone doctor, expecting for him to tell me that I can get rid of my (NON) friend, the Boot for my broken right leg. Instead, I have to wear it for about 6 more weeks! UGH! NOT GOOD NEWS INDEED!
Oh well, “onward and upward”, I guess. This means I am cooped up all alone again in in my QUIET home, and unable to drive.
Of course I can still get to church for all the services at Grace Ind. Baptist because my Son Dan, his wife Amy and/or my grandson Dylan (now a full fledged Bristol Twp, PA policeman), pick me up for services and bring me home regularly. I am very grateful for their willingness to do so, of course, but I do not like to be a burden or dependent, on others. At this point in my 90 year old life, I have no choice.
Last Lord’s Day I taught the adult Sunday School class with a lesson titled “Do You Really Know the Lord? When and How Did You Meet Him?” It was like a mini theology course dealing with the attributes of God. Then Evang. Matt Renzi preached the AM service on the subject: “At His Feet.” Great message. Sun. PM, I preached “Making Sense Out of Suffering for Saints”. Over all things went well with Pastor Dennis Higgins, Jr. away preaching in Yuma, Arizona. He and his talented wife are back home at this point. Looking forward to hearing her play the piano and for him to be back in the pulpit.
I am now a member of Grace Ind. and I am slowly getting to know the folks there. Grace Ind. is only 8 minutes from my home, whereas Straightway was about 20 minutes.) Transition is difficult at my age. I left Straightway Baptist in Lawrenceville, NJ after many years. Shirley and I were there for over a decade and then the Lord took her away from her pain and disability to Heaven. She had been saved since she was 8 years old and played the piano or organ in many churches since that tender age. She only took 1 year of music and then could play by ear after hearing a song once or twice. A real gift! We enjoyed our time at Straightway during those years and in spite of her disability she rarely missed any service and played till the last year of her life on earth. Shirley and I were married a few months short of 60 years and she transferred to Heaven at age 82. I still love her and miss her every day!
If all goes well with the healing of my leg, I have been invited to speak at the Rio Grande Bible Baptist Church just outside of Cape May, NJ, where my nephew Jeff McLeod is the long-time pastor there. They have a nice guest room waiting for me and he told me last week I can stay in their lovely home as long as I please. His dear wife, Bridgit, is part of the Higgins clan and is a talented musician as well as a great homemaker and cook! Their 3 children, Jeff Jr., Drew and Lindsay are all grown up. Drew and Lindsay are students at Crown College in Tennessee, and Jeff Jr. graduated from Vison Baptist College at Solid Rock B.C. in Berlin, NJ and teaches at Harbor Baptist in Hainesport, NJ where Patrick Higgins is the pastor. It is “here a Higgins, there a Higgins, everywhere a Higgins…”
Well, I guess that about wraps it up from Levittown, PA.
Please pray that my leg heals quickly!
Sincerely in the Savior,
Pastor (e) Paul C. Fedena
