“THE SATANIC TRINITY”

TEXT:  Rev. 16:13
 
THESIS:  To reveal the coming Satanic trinity with a view toward encouraging God’s people to prepare for the 2nd Coming of Christ.
 
INTRO.:  A.  We are seeing today the narrowing of history and the unfolding of Bible prophecy.
When “these things begin to come to pass LOOK UP for your redemption draweth nigh…”
                    B.  The Holy Trinity is a crucial doctrine.  The devil believes the Bible and this doctrine even if some of his disciples do not (e.g., the J/W’s, etc.)!  As the great counterfeiter, Satan presents his trinity to the world in the Tribulation.
 
ILLUS.:  The best selling series of “Left Behind” books dramatizes and popularizes prophetic themes with the Antichrist, false prophet and the Tribulation taking center stage.  These books at least deal literally with the events and people who play important roles in these “dark ages” of planet earth.  Let’s look in more detail at what God has to say…
 
I.   SATAN’S PROPHET:  (The False Prophet)  Rev. 13:11-18
 
     A.  He Corresponds to the Spirit of God in the Holy Trinity:
            1.  He has the power.  v.12  cf. v.4
            2.  He directs worship to the Antichrist:  v.12
            3.  He resurrects the Antichrist:  v.12
            4.  He performs miracles:  v.13,14  (Satanic healing, e.g. Benny Hinn, etc.)
 
     B.  He Controls the Religion of Men in the Horrible Tribulation:
 
            1.  He is an idol-maker:  v.14b
            2.  He energizes the image of the Antichrist:  v.15a
            3.  He carries out the reign of terror of the Antichrist:  v.15b-17
 
II.  SATAN’S SAVIOR:  (The Antichrist)   Rev. 13:1-10 & 18
 
     A.  He Corresponds to the Son in the Holy Trinity:
 
NOTE:  🔎He will be the “vicar of Christ“ on the earth!   🔎He will “appear” on the world scene, possibly miraculously; surely supernaturally, after the Rapture!  🔎Perhaps he will pretend to be Christ Himself making His 2nd appearance on the planet.  And 🔎people will buy into his “class act” and they will  “believe a lie.”  (2 Thes. 2) One author describes a possible scenario… (read attached, by Ruckman)
 
            1.  He receives power, a throne and authority.  v.2
            2.  He receives a deadly wound and experiences a resurrection.  V.3
            3.  He receives worship.  V.4 & 8
           
     B.  He is the Man of Sin and the Idol Shepherd:
 
Zechariah 11:17   Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
 
2 Thessalonians 2:3   Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition…
 
            1.  He may be a Jew or he would find it difficult to gain acceptance by the Jews as their Messiah…possibly, like Judas, he will be a half-breed Jew, although he could be a complete counterfeit.
            2.  He must be from the Old Roman Empire as to his ancestry.
 
Daniel 9:26   And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
 
               a.  First 3 ½ years he will rule Rome?
               b.  Second 3 ½ years he will rule from Jerusalem?
 
Revelation 13:1   And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea (Meditterannean) , having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
 
            3.  He must be a “little politician” i.e., a “little horn” not a “full horn.”
 
Daniel 7:7-8   After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.   I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
 
            4.  He must be known as a world peacemaker.
 
Daniel 9:27   And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
 
            5.  He will be a blasphemer.  V.1
 
Daniel 7:25   And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
 
ILLUS.: 
💫The Pope has his headquarters in Rome!,
💫claims POLITICAL POWER BUT IS NOT A President
💫claims to be Peacemaker” (!?),
💫is a blasphemer –
💫likes to be called “Holy Father” &
💫have people bow down to him carry him around on his “throne.” 
💫(He even recently made an unprecedented pilgrimage to Jerusalem! 
💫But aligned himself with the arch-terrorist Arafat & the Arabs!

     B.  He is a Man with a Number:  v.18  (3 X 6!)
 
          1.  Six is man’s number in the Bible (13 is Satan’s).     
          2.  Man was created on the 6th day.
 
ILLUS.:  His number is found in the KJB in 3 places:
1. Ezra 2:13   The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and six.
2. 2 Chronicles 9:13    Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;
3. Revelation 13:18 (3 X 6 or 666)   Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
                                            
No wonder man is afraid of Friday the 13th!  No wonder public buildings usually leave out the 13th floor!
 
          3.  He has 7 heads and 10 horns:
 
                a.  Rev. 17:9 reveals the 7 heads to be 7 mountains or hills (Rome!).
                b.  Rev. 17:12 reveals the 10 horns to be 10 Kings (kingdoms).
                c.  Rev. 17:13 reveals the “man” who controls the empire!
 
ILLUS.: 

💥666 is the number of the world bank system.
               
💥666 is the number used in goods sold in the European Common Mkt.
                                 
💥666 is the Govt. issued number for official Govt. license plates in Jerusalem.
               
💥666 is the Fed. Reserve system of numbering (3 groups, 6 digits each).
                                 
💥666 is the Social Security’s new record system (1st 3 digits).
                                  
💥666 is the number of a “perfect HU-MAN Govt.!!!
 
III.  SATAN’S PERSON:  (The Dragon)  Rev. 20:2;  12:9
 
     A.  He Corresponds to the Father in the Holy Trinity.
 
     B.  He is Behind the Religious System of the Tribulation Period Led By the False Prophet: v.14,15
 
          1.  He is behind the political empire of the Trib. Per. Led by the Anti-christ:  13:2,3
          2.  He is behind the world system of religion & politics which ignores and even blasphemes our Savior.  17:1,5  (a whore takes the place of a bride!)
 
CONCL.:  Praise God this triumvirate of evil, this Satanic Trinity will all be punished with everlasting torment.
 
Revelation 20:10   And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
                                    
​🙄I am not looking for the coming of Satan, Antichrist or the False Prophet or even the Tribulation.  🤗I am looking for the coming of the true Christ.  🙄I am not looking for the 666 man of the world, 🤗but for the 777 man from heaven!
