BE READY,
IT’S CLOSE TO THE END!
By Rob Madden
The Church has lost its relevance, purpose, & power! Therefore, God will end the church age by removing His saints off the earth (‘rapture’ – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; 5:9; Revelation3:10), and begin dealing with Israel, along with the gentile nations! This period, known as ‘Daniel’s 70th. Week’ (Daniel 9:27), will set off 7 years of God’s wrath upon the earth! (‘Tribulation’ – Matthew 24.
(2) possession of control, authority, or influence over others
We have lost these essential characteristics in many of our churches. Most conservative - evangelical churches have bowed to the ‘popular culture’ of the day! No witnessing, no conversions or even baptisms. No more, “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” (2 Timothy 4:2)
When was the last time you heard a sermon on hell, adultery, sodomites, wicked music and/or TV shows? How about liars, gossip, covetousness, abortion, separation, lewdness, immodest dressing, and/or fornication and pornography? Most preachers today have no idea how to guide or build a church. Compromise with the world is at an all time high among professing Christians today.
If the rapture took place, many who claimed to be saved would be in church the Sunday after. (Matthew 7:21-23) Remember in Noah’s day, that only his family followed him into the ark. (1 Peter 3:20) The rest of mankind perished in the flood.
Those left behind after the rapture will have two choices:
The church of Philadelphia had a good run. (Revelation 3:7-13) Now the church of Laodicea is the prevalent one. (Revelation 3:14-22) Once the church of Philadelphia is raptured (Revelation 3:10), then the apostate church (Laodicea) is in full control, being led by the beast & the false prophet! The “church age” saints are with Christ preparing for and celebrating the marriage to the LAMB! (Revelation 21:1-5)
Are we ready to be called “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump,” into the presence of Christ?
Listen to the song “Sounds of His Coming,” and let it prepare you for His soon return!
I can hear the sound of His coming everywhere
In the headlines resounding by the score
It may be another earthquake or just another war
But to every child of God it's something more
And when I hear the sound of marching
Hear the song of battle cry
Then I know my Lord is coming
Even now it may be nigh
CHORUS
And I can hear the sound of His coming everywhere
They're getting louder and louder each day
And they'll crescendo until that great and final sound
When the trumpet shall call me away
VERSE 2
I can hear the sound of fig leaves
Rustling in the summer breeze
As I see the Lord restore Jerusalem
And I can hear a sound from heaven
As a rushing mighty wind
As God pours His spirit out upon all men
And when I hear revival sounds
Not just here but everywhere
Then I know it's almost over
I can feel it in the air
CHORUS
And I can hear the sound of His coming everywhere
They're getting louder and louder each day
And they'll crescendo until that great and final sound
When the trumpet shall call me away

Those left behind after the rapture will have two choices:
- Receive Christ as Savior and Lord, suffer horrible persecution, and probably die a martyr! (Revelation 6:9-11)
- Reject Christ, receive antichrist as savior, suffer God’s wrath for 7 years, then die and spend 1,000 years in hell, be resurrected and cast into an everlasting lake of eternal torment and fire. (Revelation 20:7-15)
